2 days ago Milwaukee Bucks center Brook Lopez returned to form on Sunday when he nailed five of 10 shots to score 16 points, but it was not enough in the six-point loss to the Raptors on Sunday. Lopez did not add any blocks but grabbed six rebounds and added two steals as he kept the defense honest making three of seven from three across 40 minutes. Lopez bounced back after a disappointing Game 2 when he scored just six points on 1-for-7 shooting, but was a team-worst minus-16 in this one as he had a hard time keeping up with Marc Gasol who won this battle this time.
2 days ago Milwaukee Bucks shooting guard/small forward Khris Middleton scored just nine points on a dismal 3-for-16 shooting in the double-overtime loss to the Raptors on Sunday. Middleton made just 1-for-6 from three and added nine boards with three assists and a steal in his 44 minutes. Middleton is averaging just 10.7 points across the series' first three games, but his value has been on the defensive end where he is somewhat containing Kawhi Leonard. Middleton is due for a big game in this series and we may just see it in the crucial Game 4 in Toronto on Tuesday.
14 hours ago Portland Trail Blazers power forward/center Meyers Leonard dropped 25 of his 30 points in the opening quarter of the Game 4 series-ending loss to the Warriors on Monday. Leonard nailed 12 of 16 from the floor and made five triples with 12 rebounds and three assists with a block and a steal. The move to put Leonard in the starting unit proved to be a positive one with him averaging 23.0 points and 7.5 rebounds in the series' final two games. With Enes Kanter to be hitting free agency and Jusuf Nurkic (leg) out for the foreseeable future, Leonard could is a solid look at late-round value for next season.
13 hours ago Portland Trail Blazers guard C.J. McCollum provided 26 points and seven assists in the Game 4 overtime loss to the Warriors on Monday. McCollum drilled 10 of 22 shots from the floor and connected on 5-for-9 shooting from three while chipping in two blocks and a steal in 44 minutes of action. McCollum, Damian Lillard, and Meyers Leonard combined for 84 of their clubs' 117 points and with no other Blazers' player reaching double digits, it was just not enough. McCollum is on the books for two more years in Portland and will again have early-round value across all formats for next season.
13 hours ago Portland Trail Blazers shooting guard/small forward Rodney Hood was non-factor in the Game 4 loss on Monday to the Warriors. Hood scored just seven points on 3-for-11 shooting from the floor and added just two rebounds with two assists with two steals across 40 minutes of action. After showing some serious promise earlier in the postseason and averaging 14.5 points int he series' first two games, Hood disappeared in Game 3 and 4 when he averaged just 5.0 points. Hood is a free agent and will garner some attention for his postseason success and depending on where he lands, he should have some late-round value for 2019-20.
